Why these garments are built the way they are.
Every decision in Drop 01 — the fabric weight, the colour, the label placement, the print techniques, the wash process — came from somewhere real and was tested against one standard: does this make the garment better, or just different?
The Fabric
The weight is the point.
Every WAVE XV box tee is cut from 100% cotton at 250 gsm. Pre-shrunk. Prewashed. All before a single print or stitch of embroidery is applied.
Most brands land at 160gsm and call it premium. We start where others stop. The weight softens with wear. It does not thin out. It holds its shape, wash after wash.
Water-based print, embroidered icon, or signature art: one base, one standard.
The Branding Language
The logo whispers.

01 · Chest Embroidery and Print
Embroidery and screen print in the brand subdued color tones. Giving a premium look and remaining classy.
02 · Hem Tag
Rust woven XV monogram, left front hem. Small, tactile, deliberate.
03 · Sleeve Patch

Every placement was tested against one question: does this make the garment quieter or louder? Quieter wins.
The Palette
The landscape is the colour guide.
Every colour exists somewhere between Boulders Beach and Lion's Head. Sun-bleached, sea-salted, fynbos-dried. Nothing should look factory-fresh.
